Up and Running in 5 Minutes — No Tools, No Plumber, No Hassle


Installing your Crystave Filtered Showerhead is one of the easiest home upgrades you'll ever make. Follow these simple steps and you'll be enjoying cleaner, filtered water in minutes. Before you start, make sure you have everything from your package — your showerhead, hose, connector, and plumber's tape.

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off the Water
Turn off the water supply to your shower before starting. This prevents any unexpected water flow while you work.

2. Remove Your Old Showerhead
Unscrew your existing showerhead by hand. If it's stubborn, use an adjustable wrench wrapped in a cloth to avoid scratching. Have a small towel ready — some water may drip out when you remove it.

3. Clean the Shower Arm
Wipe down the threaded end of your shower arm. Remove any old plumber's tape, mineral buildup, or debris so your new connection seals properly.

4. Wrap With Plumber's Tape
Wrap the plumber's tape included in your Crystave package tightly around the shower arm threads. This creates a watertight seal and prevents leaks. Two to three wraps is enough.

5. Attach the Connector
Screw the connector onto the shower arm threads by hand until snug. Don't overtighten — hand tight is all you need.

6. Connect the Hose
Attach one end of the hose to the connector. Hand tighten until secure.

7. Attach the Showerhead
Connect the other end of the hose to your Crystave Filtered Showerhead. Hand tighten until secure.

8. Turn the Water Back On
Slowly turn your water supply back on. Let the pressure build gradually and check all connection points for any drips or leaks.

9. Position Your Showerhead
Adjust the angle and position of your showerhead to where you want it.

10. Test and Enjoy
Turn on your shower. Check for leaks one more time and make any minor adjustments if needed. That's it — you're done.

Pro Tips:

  • Keep a towel nearby when removing your old showerhead to catch drips
  • Always hand tighten only — tools can crack connectors
  • If you notice a small leak add another wrap of plumber's tape to the threads
  • Your filter is already installed — no extra setup needed
